The ignition distributor is mounted horizontally, directly on the camshaft drive - in the direction of the gearbox. It is equipped with a Hall sensor.
The spark plug wires connect the distributor cap to the spark plugs. The spark plug wires must not be replaced with wires other than those installed by the vehicle manufacturer.
