Removal and installation fixed rear door window glass (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Remove the door glass. Remove the glass guide. Remove the inner sealing strip of the door cavity. Remove the protective film from the threaded hole "2". Unscrew the screw "2". Move the seal from the inside of the fixed window glass under the edge of the door frame so that the T30116 tool "3" can be inserted.

Insert tool T30116 "3" between the glass and the door frame onto the locking pin (position as shown in the picture). Release fixed glass "1" using tool T30116 in an outward direction. Remove fixed glass "1" together with the outer seal from the door frame.

Installation



Insert the fixed glass together with the outer seal into the door frame. Insert the locking pin into the hole in the door frame. Push the fixed glass seal onto the door frame and insert the glass correctly. Screw in screw "2". Seal the threaded hole "2" with protective film. The subsequent order of work is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: The locking pin is part of the fixed glass. If damaged, the fixed glass must be replaced as a unit.


Removal and installation the rear fixed door glass (Combi)



Remove the door glass. Remove the glass guide. Remove the inner sealing strip of the door cavity. Remove the protective film from the threaded hole "2". Unscrew the screw "2". Move the seal from the inside of the fixed window glass under the edge of the door frame so that you can insert the T30116 "3" tool. Insert the T30116 "3" tool between the glass and the door frame onto the locking pin (position as shown in the picture). Release fixed glass "1" using tool T30116 in an outward direction. Remove fixed glass "1" together with the outer seal from the door frame.



Installation



Insert the fixed glass together with the outer seal into the door frame. Insert the locking pin into the hole in the door frame. Push the fixed glass seal onto the door frame and insert the glass correctly. Screw in screw "2". Seal the threaded hole "2" with protective film. The subsequent order of work is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
