Removal and installation the gas-filled shock absorber of the trunk lid (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Open the trunk lid, support it and secure it. Lift the locking bracket "2" with a screwdriver and remove the gas-filled shock absorber "1" from the spherical journal "3".

Note: If the gas strut is to be reused, do not remove the bracket completely from the spherical tip. Otherwise, it will be damaged.
