Removal and installation the tailgate screw transmission (Combi) (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Open the trunk lid, support and secure it. Disconnect the screw drive connectors under the trim D and pull the wiring "3" through the nozzle. Unlock the locking bracket "4" with a screwdriver and remove the screw drive "1" from the spherical journal "2".

Caution! Pull out the locking bracket one step. Do not remove the locking bracket completely from the spherical insert. Risk of injury to the mechanic and destruction of the locking bracket!

Spherical pin (20 Nm) "2".

Installation in reverse order.

Note: After installing the screw drive, the end positions must be adjusted.
