Note: In the event of a power failure, the sunblind can be moved to the removal position (fully open) manually using a standard Inbus key. When working on the sunshade fabric, keep it clean or cover vulnerable parts. Wear protective gloves if necessary.
Move the sun shade to the fully open position. Remove the front of the glass cover. Remove the back of the glass cover. Remove the sunroof frame. Press lock -3- downwards -arrow a-. Move bow support -4- fully to one side -arrow b-. Pull the opposite arched support -4- out of the shade mechanism -2- to the rear -arrow c-. If necessary, fully pull the bow support -4- out of the curtain -1- to the side -arrow d-.
Instruction. During subsequent work, make sure that the fabric of the curtain is not damaged.
Carefully pry up the hook of the shade feeder with a slotted screwdriver. Pull the sunblind with the feed mechanism out of the guide towards the rear. Repeat the described operations on the opposite side. Release screws -3-. Release lock -5- with a slotted screwdriver -a-.
Remove sunblind -1 - complete with blind retainer left and right -2- from sliding sunroof frame towards rear -arrow d- and upwards -arrow e-. Completely remove the curtain with the holder from the frame of the sliding sunroof -arrow b-.
Installation
Note: The yoke and the cables for operating the sun shade must be free of grease.
Insert sunblind -1- with right and left fixings -2- into sliding sunroof frame. Insert the curtain holder into the guides and fix. Screw in screws -3-. Tightening torque - 3 Nm. Installation in reverse order.
Note: After installing the sunblinds, check that they are synchronized and move freely. To do this, start the sunshade drive manually by turning the electric motor with a normal hex wrench and check the sunshade for wrinkling and tension in the fabric.
After all work is completed, run the installation run of the sunshade motor.
