Remove the evaporator -2- from the lower part of the evaporator housing -1-. Remove expansion valve. Remove seal/insulation -3-, to do this move sliding element -5- to the side -arrow-. Remove bracket -4- for refrigerant lines.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: If there are small gaps in the keyed connection between the upper and lower part of the evaporator housing, a whistle may occur due to air leakage. Therefore, silicone grease should be applied at the joints. Before installing the evaporator, check the drain hose and the evaporator body and clean if necessary (and the evaporator). The removed evaporator contains refrigerant oil, which must be poured into the refrigerant circuit (with new evaporator).
