Remove all clamps (mark locations and positions). Unscrew screws "2". Carefully separate the upper and lower parts of the evaporator housing. Remove the evaporator with expansion valve from the housing. Unscrew the expansion valve.

Installation

Important: Assembly of both halves of the housing is made easier by lubricating the side guide surfaces of the heat exchanger seal with a neutral soap solution. Under no circumstances should you use any other means to facilitate sliding - this may cause a foul odor when the air conditioner is running. Replace the O-rings on the expansion valve connection.

Clean the water drainage holes on the bottom of the evaporator body. After lubricating the new O-rings with coolant oil, place them on the connecting elements of the pipelines. Screw on expansion valve "5". Tightening torque: 5 Nm. Install seal "3" onto evaporator "2" correctly in relation to the sides. Drain openings must face downward "arrow" (the figure shows the assembly in the evaporator body - the upper part).

Install heat-protective insulation "4". Carefully insert evaporator "2" with the remaining parts until it stops in the evaporator housing - the upper part. Ensure that seal "3" is correctly positioned in the side guide surfaces and in the heat-protective insulation "A" of the housing. Carefully place the lower part of the evaporator housing onto the evaporator.

Important: Both halves of the case should fit easily into each other. Ensure that the thermal insulation is correctly positioned in the housing.

Connect both halves of the case with clamps and 2 screws. Apply new foam seal to evaporator body.

1 - The device for controlling the heater and air conditioner, with the air conditioner control unit "J301", is connected via CAN-BUS to other control units, receives information about the need for heat and cold, sending the corresponding signals to the compressor control valve or, respectively, the mixing control device(temperature) dampers; 2 - Air conditioner wiring harness plug connector; 3 - Vehicle wiring harness plug connector; 4 - Flexible shaft, to the air distributor flap adjuster; 5 - Heating system fan switch "E9", 4 rotation positions, the air conditioner turns on only if the fan is on; 6 - Rotary button of the air distributor, if with the air circulation on, it is moved to the "defrost windshield" position, it automatically switches to fresh air (preventing the windshield from fogging); after pressing the button again for air circulation, the circulation is turned on again; 7 - Instrument cluster temperature sensor "G56", with temperature sensor fan "V42"; 8 - Air conditioner switch "E35", the air conditioner turns on only if the fan is on; 9 - Switch for fresh and circulated air damper "E159"; 10 - Rotary button for temperature control, potentiometer "G267", temperature control inside the car in the range from 16 to 31°C, as a result of turning the button all the way to the right and, accordingly, to the left, the temperature control is turned off (mixing (temperature) flap fully open and, respectively, fully closed), if the ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature inside the vehicle, then the air conditioner must be switched on
