Note: To remove the shock absorber, it is not necessary to remove the spring. Before starting work, determine the distance "a".
Remove the wheel and lift the car. Remove the rear mudguard. Place the engine and transmission jack with a nozzle under the beam at the location of the shock absorber support. Unscrew bolts "1".
Unscrew screw "1". Remove the shock absorber.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: When tightening the bolt/nut securing the shock absorber to the beam, it is necessary to maintain dimension "a" (the vehicle is not loaded - the position corresponding to the unladen weight).
Tighten bolt "1" to the specified torque. Tighten bolt "1" securing the shock absorber to the beam to the specified torque — the suspension must be in a condition corresponding to the unladen weight. Install the mudguard. Install the wheel and tighten its mounting bolts.
