Note: The spring does not need to be removed to remove the shock absorber. Before starting work, determine the distance -a-.
Remove the wheel and raise the vehicle. Remove the rear fender. Place a jack for engines and transmission units with a nozzle under the beam at the location of the shock absorber support. Unscrew bolts -1-.
Remove screw -1-. Remove shock absorber.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: When tightening the bolt/nut securing the shock absorber to the beam, dimension -a- must be observed (the vehicle is not loaded - the position corresponding to the curb weight).
Tighten bolt -1- to specified torque. Tighten the bolt -1- securing the shock absorber to the beam to the prescribed torque - the suspension must be in a state corresponding to the curb weight. Install fender. Install the wheel and tighten the wheel bolts.
