
Remove the wires from the speed sensors "1" on both sides from the mount "2" on the beam.

Cars with automatic headlight range control
Disconnect connector "1" of the rear left ground clearance sensor "G76". Remove wire "2" from the clamp "arrow".

Disconnect the parking brake cable from both calipers. Pull the parking brake cable out of the hole in the beam. Remove the brake calipers on both sides and tie them to the body (for example with wire). Remove the brake pipe "1" from the mount on the right side "arrow".

Note: This will damage the clamp and must then be replaced.
Remove the coil springs. Secure the car to the lift with "T10038" belts.

Caution! Otherwise it may slip off the lift.
Place a wooden block in the jack attachment. Place the jack under the beam. Secure the rear axle beam to the jack.

Mark the position of the beam support bracket "1" and the "arrow" bolts on both sides, unscrew the "arrow" bolts.

Unscrew the lower bolts securing the "arrow" shock absorbers. Lower the beam on the jack.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: When tightening the silent block bolts and nuts, the lower shock absorber mounting bolts, the beam must be in a position corresponding to the vehicle's unladen weight.
