Note: To place the tie "V.A.G 1752/1" to remove the left spring, it is necessary to partially dismantle the rear muffler (hang it up).
Raise the car. Unhook the rear muffler and move it to the side.
Note: Make sure that the grip fits as tightly as possible to the spring coils. When tightening, check the position of the spring in the grip "arrow". Do not use an impact screwdriver.

Press out the middle part of the clamping ring "1" in the "direction of the arrow".

Install a spring clamp, eg. "V.A.G 1752/1"
1. Spring clamp, eg. "V.A.G 1752/1"
2. Capture, eg "VAG 1752/3A"

Remove the spring.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: The end of the spring coil "arrow" must be adjacent to the stop of the lower spring gasket.

Install the spring together with the lining. When installing, insert the protruding rod into the beam hole. Install the upper lining on the upper coil of the spring. Release the spring. In this case, the recess of the upper spring lining should align with the corresponding protrusion on the body. Remove the device for compressing the suspension springs.
