Remove the poly V-belt. Remove the air conditioning compressor with the hoses connected from the bracket and hang it on the right.
Disconnect connector "1". Unscrew screw "2" and remove oil pressure regulating valve "N428".
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: Replace the sealing ring.
Install the poly V-belt. Check the oil level.
Checking oil pressure
Oil level is normal. Engine oil temperature is about 80°C. Remove oil pressure sensor "F1". Connect pressure gauge "V.A.G 1342" to the hole for the oil pressure sensor "F1". Screw the old oil pressure sensor into the hole in the oil pressure measuring device "V.A.G 1342", to close the hole. Start the engine. Oil pressure at idle: not less than 0.18 MPa (1.8 bar). Oil pressure at 3000 rpm: not less than 0.38 MPa (3.8 bar).
