Numbering of contacts of the boost pressure valve connector block
1, 2 – contacts
1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the boost pressure valve.
3. Connect an ohmmeter to the valve contacts and measure the resistance; it should be 14–20 ohms. If the valve resistance differs from the specified value, replace the valve.
4. Check the supply voltage of the valve. To do this, connect a voltmeter to contact 1 of the connector disconnected from the valve and to the engine ground. Turn on the ignition, the voltmeter should show the battery voltage. Otherwise, check the wires for open circuits and short circuits.
