Note: Do not disconnect the engine oil cooler from the oil filter housing. In case of malfunction, the engine oil cooler is replaced together with the oil filter bracket.
Remove the air filter. Remove the frame with the radiator fan. Remove the front left coolant pipe. Remove the front right coolant pipe. Loosen the hose clamps "arrows". Remove the coolant system hose. -Position 1- ignore.
Disconnect connector "2". Unscrew screw "1" and push aside the charge air cooling pump "V188" "pos. 3".
Disconnect connector "1" on oil pressure regulating valve "N428". -Position 2- ignore.
Disconnect the "arrow" connector of the oil pressure sensor "F1".
Disconnect the "arrow" connector of the low oil pressure sensor "F378".
Unscrew the screws in sequence and remove the oil filter housing together with the engine oil cooling radiator.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: Replace the gasket and O-rings. Use original spring clamps similar to those installed at the factory to secure all hose connections.
Install the front right coolant pipe. Install the front left coolant pipe. Install the frame with the radiator fan. Connect the coolant hose with a quick-release coupling. Fill with coolant.
