Brake Pressure Regulating Valve (Pickup Models) — Checking Serviceability (Skoda Favorit)

1. If one or both rear wheels lock up several times during heavy braking, first check that this is not caused by adverse road conditions or incorrect tire pressure/excessive tread wear. Then check the condition of all four brake assemblies. Only then can we assume that the brake pressure regulating valve is faulty or incorrectly adjusted.



2. At the time of writing this manual, there was no information available to enable the vehicle owner to adjust this component independently; if necessary, contact a Skoda dealer who has the necessary equipment. Do not disturb the adjustment of the valve operating lever (see photo).
