When operating in automatic mode, Climatronic provides optimal regulation of air temperature, fan speed, and air flow distribution. The system also takes into account the effects of solar radiation, so it does not require additional manual adjustment. The air conditioner only operates under the following conditions; the air conditioner is on, the engine is running, the outside temperature is above +2°C. The air conditioner switches off when the coolant temperature is too high to ensure engine cooling under high load.
Governing bodies

Functions of individual governing bodies
- A. Temperature adjustment for left side or both sides
- B. Interior temperature sensor
- C. Fan speed adjustment
- D. Temperature adjustment for the right side
- 1. Display the set temperature for the left side
- 2. Display the set temperature for the right side
3. Depending on the configuration:
Recommended basic settings for climate control units
- (a) This setting is not recommended in countries with high humidity. It may cause the glass to become too cold and fog up on the outside.
- (b) The auto turn on function can be turned off by pressing the A/C button.
- (c) The automatic power-on function can be disabled by pressing the key

- (d) Warmer air is supplied to the footwell than to the upper body.
It is recommended to keep deflectors 3 open in all modes.
- SETUP Adjusting Climatronic in the Infotainment system
- DUAL Enable/disable simultaneous temperature control mode for left and right sides
- AUTO Enable automatic mode
- A/C Turn on/off the air conditioner
Note: Do not tape or cover the interior temperature sensor B, otherwise the Climatronic system will not be able to operate effectively.
Automatic mode
In automatic mode, three air conditioning options are available - moderate, medium, intensive. Setting up individual operating modes. The standard mode for Climatronic is the medium intensity air conditioning mode.
Recommended settings for any time of year
Set the desired temperature, we recommend 22°C, Press the AUTO button. Set deflectors 3 and 4 so that the air flow is directed slightly upwards. After switching on the automatic function, Climatronic operates in the mode it was in when switched off. The current operating mode is shown on the Infotainment display. Automatic mode is switched off by pressing any air flow distribution button or changing the fan speed.
Turning the air conditioner on/off
Press the A/C button. The indicator in the button lights up. Press the A/C button again. The indicator light in the button goes out. After the air conditioner is turned off, only the ventilation function remains on, which prevents the interior temperature from falling below the outside temperature.

Temperature setting
The temperature in the left and right parts of the cabin can be adjusted simultaneously for both sides, or individually.
For both sides
Turn the knob A to the left or right to decrease or increase the temperature respectively. The control lamp in the DUAL key does not light.
For the right side
Turn the D control knob to the left or right to decrease or increase the temperature, The control lamp in the DUAL button lights up. When the control lamp in the DUAL button lights up, it is impossible to set the temperature for both sides of the passenger compartment with the A control knob. This function can be restored by pressing the DUAL button. The control lamp in the button will go out, The passenger compartment temperature can be set in the range of -16°C... +2°C. In this range, the temperature is regulated automatically. If the temperature set is below +16°C, the blue symbol lights up on the corresponding controller. If the temperature set is above +29°C, the red symbol lights up on the corresponding controller. In extreme modes, Climatronic operates at maximum heating and air conditioning power. The temperature is not regulated automatically.
Automatic recirculation mode
The recirculation mode prevents polluted air from entering the vehicle interior, for example when driving through a tunnel or past a "smoking" truck. If the air quality sensor detects a significant increase in the concentration of harmful substances in the incoming air, the recirculation mode is temporarily switched on. When the concentration of harmful substances drops to a normal level, the recirculation mode is automatically switched off so that fresh air can enter the vehicle interior again. In the recirculation mode, air is taken from the vehicle interior and supplied back to the interior. If the automatic recirculation mode is switched on, the air quality sensor determines the concentration of harmful substances in the incoming air. If the air quality sensor does not switch on the automatic recirculation mode due to an unpleasant odor in the incoming air, the recirculation can be switched on manually.
Turn on/off
Press the key with the symbol
The counter lamp under the key lights up.
Press the key again (counter, the lamp under the key goes out). If necessary, press the button with the AUTO symbol. The on/off functions are also available in the Infotainment system.
Note: If the windshield fogs up, press the button.
When the windshield is clean, press the AUTO button. The automatic recirculation mode only operates when the outside temperature is above 2°C.
Fan adjustment
You can also select the desired fan speed manually. Turn the control C clockwise or counterclockwise to decrease or increase the fan speed. When the fan speed control is set to zero, the Climatronic air conditioning system is switched off. The set fan speed is indicated by the corresponding number of indicator lamps in the control C lighting up.
Defrosting the windshield
Turn on/off
Press the key
Press the key or the AUTO key again. The air flow from the deflectors 1 increases. The temperature is adjusted automatically.
