Removal
Note.
- Before starting work related to the removal or installation of panoramic roof glass (cutting through adhesive joints using special strings), it is necessary to use protective glasses and gloves.
- Once removed from the car roof, the panoramic glass assembly cannot be reused. The sealant that is located around the perimeter of the glass will be damaged when the glue is cut off.
- The assistance of a second mechanic is required for the removal and installation of the panoramic glass roof.
1. Remove the roof trim panel inside the car (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. Using adhesive tape and a special protective coating, cover all metal painted areas of the body adjacent to the panoramic roof.

3. Pierce the panoramic roof seal using a special needle in the rear corner of the roof.
4. Pull a special cord through the hole in the seal and screw T-shaped handles to its ends.
5. Cut the seal around the perimeter of the panoramic roof.
6. Using a suitable tool, remove the panoramic glass roof.
Installation
1. Prepare an opening in the roof for installing panoramic glass (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. Prepare the surface of the panoramic glass for applying the adhesive material to it.
3. Apply adhesive material to the contact surfaces (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
4. Wait for a while and, together with an assistant, install the panoramic glass on the roof of the car.
