Removal
1. Remove the rear door trim panel (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. Remove the rear door glass (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
3. Remove the rear door window lifter servo motor or the window lifter mechanical drive (depending on the configuration) (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
4. Loosen the fastening nuts (2) shown in the figure below.
5. Unlock the clamps (4) of the drive drum (3), then move it inside the door body (arrows "a"), as shown in the figure below.
6. Move the window lift mechanism (1) inside the door body as shown in the figure below.
7. Move the window regulator assembly towards the service hole in the door body (arrow b), then remove the window regulator from the door through this service hole (arrow c), as shown in the figure below.
Installation
1. Install the window lift mechanism (1) into the door body through the service hole (arrow a), as shown in the figure below.
2. Move the window lift mechanism to its installation position (arrow b) as shown in the figure below.
3. Press the window lift mechanism to insert its mounting studs into the holes in the door body. Then install and tighten the mounting nuts (2), shown in the figure below, with a tightening torque of 6 Nm.
4. Press on the drive drum through the service hole in the door (arrows c) until the clamps lock into place with a characteristic click.
