Removing
1. Remove the front wheel assembly.
2. Unscrew the nuts securing the lower arm of the front suspension to the ball joint (arrows), as shown in the figure below.
3. Unscrew the fastening bolt (arrow 1) and fastening nut (arrow 2), as shown in the figure below.
4. Release the lower arm of the front suspension from the studs of the ball joint.
5. Disconnect the lower front suspension arm from the front suspension subframe.
Installation
1. Install the lower front suspension arm to the subframe.
2. Install the mounting bolt (arrow 1) and tighten the fastening nut (2), as shown in the figure below At this stage, only start the bolt and fastening nut - do not tighten.
3. Connect the lower arm of the front suspension to the ball joint, install and tighten the fastening nuts with the required torque.
4. Load the front suspension to match the car standing on the surface. Tighten to the required torque the bolt and nut securing the lower front suspension arm to the subframe.
5. Carry out a road test.
6. Check and, if necessary, adjust the angles of the steered wheels.
