The engine can only be started with the original key.
Before starting the engine, shift the gear lever to neutral position (on vehicles with automatic transmission, move the lever to position P or N) and firmly tighten the handbrake lever.
While starting the engine, fully depress the clutch pedal, causing the starter to only crank the engine.
As soon as the engine starts, immediately release the key in the ignition to avoid damaging the starter.
After starting a cold engine, a short increase in engine noise may result, since during the hydraulic adjustment of the gap in the valve actuator, oil pressure must first be created. This is normal and you don't need to worry about it.
