The dipped beam headlights only come on when the ignition is on. When the ignition is switched off, the dipped beam headlights are automatically switched off and the position lamps remain on. In vehicles with right-hand drive, the location of the switches is partially different from the location shown. However, the symbols for the individual switch positions are retained.
For some countries, the situation is such that when the ignition is switched on, the dipped-beam headlamps with reduced brightness are also lit together with the position lamps.
Attention. Never drive away with the marker lights on only - danger of an accident! The parking lights do not provide sufficient illumination of the road in front of you and that you can also be seen by other road users. Therefore, in the dark and in poor visibility, always turn on the low beam headlights.
Note:
- If you remove the key from the ignition and open the driver's door while the car's lights are on, an audible alarm will sound.
- After closing the driver's door (ignition off) the sound signaling of the included lighting remains off, which allows you to park the car with the parking lights off.
- When the car is parked for a long time, it is recommended to turn off all the lights of the car or leave only the marker lights on.
- When using these headlights and backdrops, the relevant legal provisions must be observed.
- In the event of a malfunction at the light switch, the dipped beam headlights will automatically light up.
- In cold or damp weather, the headlights may fog up temporarily from the inside. A decisive influence on fogging is the temperature difference inside the headlight and in front of the headlight. After turning on the headlights, their fogging disappears soon. On occasion, it may still remain at the edges of the headlights. Fogging can also occur on reversing lights and direction indicators. Fogging of the headlights does not affect the length of their service life.
