Front panel:
A. Light switch.
B. Fuse box: Daytime running light switch.

Turning on the side lights

  • Turn the light switch to the position .

Switching on low and high beam headlights

  • Turn the light switch to the position .
  • To turn on the high beam headlights, press the high beam switch lever.

Turn off all lights

  • Turn the light switch to position "0".

The low beam headlights only light when the ignition is on. After the ignition is turned off, the low beam headlights automatically turn off and the side lights remain on. In right-hand drive vehicles, the switch arrangement is partially different from the arrangement shown. However, the symbols indicating the individual switch positions are retained.

For some countries, a situation is provided whereby when the ignition is on, the low beam headlights also light up along with the side lights, but with reduced brightness.

Attention. Never start driving with only the side lights on - risk of accident! Side lights do not provide sufficient illumination of the road in front of you and for other road users to see you. Therefore, in the dark and with poor visibility, always turn on the low beam headlights.

Note:
  • If you remove the key from the ignition and open the driver's door while the vehicle's lights are on, an audible alarm will sound.
  • After closing the driver's door (ignition off) the sound signal for the lights being on remains off, allowing you to park the car with the side lights off.
  • When parking the car for a long time, it is recommended to turn off all the car lights or leave only the side lights on.
  • When using the specified headlights and backgrounds, you must comply with the relevant legal provisions.
  • If a fault occurs in the light switch, the low beam headlights will automatically turn on.
  • In cold or damp weather, the headlights may temporarily fog up from the inside. The decisive influence on fogging is the temperature difference between the inside of the headlight and in front of the headlight. After turning on the headlights, their fogging disappears soon. Sometimes, it may remain on the edges of the headlights. Fogging may also occur on the reversing lights and turn signals. Fogging of the headlights does not affect their service life.
