Switches in the driver's door
The power window can only be used when the ignition is on.
Opening windows
- The window is opened by lightly pressing the button of the corresponding switch. After releasing the switch button, the opening of the window stops.
- In addition, it is possible to open the window automatically (full opening) by pressing the switch button all the way down. When the switch button is pressed again, the window stops immediately.
Closing windows
- Close the window by pulling out the corresponding switch button a little by the upper slot. When the button is released, the window will stop closing.
- In addition, it is possible to close the window automatically (complete closure) by pulling the switch button all the way. After pulling the switch button again, the window stops immediately.
The switches for the individual windows are located in the driver's armrest, in the front passenger's door and in the rear doors.
Driver's armrest window switches
- (A) Switch to control the window glass in the driver's door.
- (B) Switch for operating the window glass in the front passenger door.
- (S) Safety interlock switch.
Safety interlock switch
By pressing the safety interlock switch it is possible to deactivate the switches in the rear doors. After pressing the safety interlock switch again, the switches for adjusting the rear windows will be operational again.
If the switches in the rear doors are disabled, the warning light in the safety interlock switch will illuminate.
Attention.
- When locking the car from the outside, make sure that no one remains inside, because then, in case of emergency, it is impossible to open the windows from the inside.
- The system is equipped with a safety device against sudden clamping. If a part of the human body is pinched, the glass displacement stops and the glass returns a few cm back. However, you should still close the windows carefully! Otherwise, you may cause serious injury!
- If children are carried in the rear seats, it is recommended, for their safety, that a safety interlock switch be used to disable the rear side door window switches.
Note:
- After switching off the ignition, you will be able to open and close the windows for approx. 10 minutes. At this time, the automatic power window control device does not work. Only after opening the driver's or front passenger's door is the power window control switched off completely.
- To ventilate the interior of the vehicle while driving, use the vehicle's heating and cooling system as much as possible, respectively. If the windows are open, dust and other dirt may enter the vehicle and unpleasant sounds may be generated at certain vehicle speeds.
