Removal



1. Remove the soundproofing coating.

Note: If the accessory drive belt is to be reused, an arrow indicating the direction of travel must be applied to its surface before removal.

2. Using an open-end wrench, loosen the tension on the accessory drive belt by moving the tensioner in the direction of the arrow, as shown in the figure below.

3. Lock the accessory drive belt tensioner using the special locking rod (T10060).

4. Using a socket wrench, move the tensioner pulley in the direction of the arrow to release the tension of the accessory drive belt as shown in the figure below.

Note
  • Before installing the accessory drive belt, make sure the alternator, air conditioning compressor and water pump are properly installed and secured.
  • Be careful when installing the drive belt of the attachment, observe the direction of rotation of the belt.


1. Installation of the accessory drive belt begins with the crankshaft pulley, after which it is installed on the tensioner roller and then on the rest of the equipment.

2. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

3. Start the engine and check the operation of the accessory drive belt.
