2. Unscrew the spark plugs using a spark plug wrench (3122 B).
3. Open the fuse box cover in the engine compartment and remove the fuel pump control unit fuse.
4. Check the compression pressure with a special device for measuring compression (V.A.G 1763).
5. Crank the engine with the starter until the control and measuring instrument no longer shows any increase in pressure.

6. If the required values are not achieved, the tightness of the combustion chamber and valve group should be checked.
7. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
8. Reset errors using special scanning equipment.
Note: Each time the wiring harness connectors are disconnected from the fuel injectors, errors are loaded into the fault memory.
