Removal
Note
- Necessary special devices, control and measuring instruments, as well as auxiliary means.
- Limiting bolt "T10060A" or a key with an external Allen key 4 mm.
1. Mark the direction of movement of the poly V-belt of the accessory drive
2. Loosen the tensioner of the poly V-belt of the accessory drive.
Cars without air conditioning
3. Tilt the tensioner to the side with an open-end wrench in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure below.
4. Using the "10060A" limit bolt or a 4mm Allen key, secure the tensioner as shown in the figure below.
Cars with air conditioning
5. Flip the tensioner to the side with a ring spanner in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure below.
6. Secure the tensioner with the T10060A limit bolt or 4mm Allen key (1), as shown in the figure below.
Continued for all cars
7. Remove the loosened poly V-belt of the accessory drive.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note.
- Before you start installing the poly V-belt, you should check the strength of the installation of all units (alternator, liquid cooling system pump or also air conditioning compressor), pulleys, tensioners and rollers.
- When installing a poly V-belt, it is necessary to observe the correct direction of its movement and the correct installation of the belt on the pulleys and rollers.
2. Put the poly V-belt on the crankshaft pulley. Then put the belt on the tension roller.
3. Check the correct position of the poly V-belt on the pulleys.
4. Start the engine and check the operation of the poly V-belt for the attachment drive.
