Removal



1. Remove the lower protective cover of the engine compartment.

2. Remove the lower part of the wheel arch liner on the right side.

Attention.
  • If a used poly V-belt is installed in the opposite direction of travel, it may become unusable.
  • Before you begin removing the poly V-belt, you should mark the direction of travel on it with chalk or a felt-tip pen for the purpose of reinstallation.


3. Fold back the tensioner with a 16 mm end wrench -in the direction of the arrow-, which will loosen the fastening of the poly V-belt.

4. Lock the tension element with the limiting bolt "T10060 A".

5. Remove the poly V-belt for the accessory drive.

Installation



Note.
  • Before installing the poly V-belt, you need to ensure that all units are securely installed (alternator, air conditioning compressor, liquid cooling system pump).
  • When installing a poly V-belt, ensure that it moves in the correct direction and that the belt is correctly installed on the pulleys.


1. First put the poly V-belt on the crankshaft pulley. Finally, put the belt on the tension roller.
