Removal
Note: The front suspension subframe is removed as an assembly with the control arms.
1. Loosen the mounting bolts.
2. Raise the car on a lift. Check and ensure that the vehicle is securely fixed to the lift supports.
3. Unscrew the fastening elements and remove the front wheels as an assembly.
4. Remove the lower soundproofing layer.
5. Remove the soundproofing covering from the rear of the front suspension subframe assembly.
6. If installed, remove the center underbody cover.
7. Remove the bolts and separate the front section of the exhaust pipe from the front suspension subframe assembly as shown in the figure below.

8. Unscrew the bolts securing the longitudinal support of the power unit assembly, as shown in the figure below.

9. Loosen the hexagonal nut (1) securing the anti-roll bar pin (3), as shown in the figure below (perform this operation on both sides).
10. Disconnect the strut (3) from the anti-roll bar (2) on the left and right sides.

11. Loosen the nuts securing the lower arm of the front suspension to the ball joint of the steering knuckle, as shown in the figure below.

Cars with a height sensor
12. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the left front height sensor or the right front height sensor as shown in the figure below.

For all models
13. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the engine oil level and temperature sensor (G266), as shown in the figure below.

14. Pull towards you and disconnect the clamps (1) and (2) of the electrical wiring harness (3) from the subframe and from the steering rack, as shown in the figure below.

15. Unscrew the steering rack mounting bolts (1), shown in the figure below.
16. Remove the steering rack from the guide pins and disconnect it from the front suspension subframe.

17. Place a special hydraulic jack with a support platform (1) under the front suspension subframe, as shown in the figure below.
18. Fix the position of the subframe on the platform of the hydraulic jack and lower it together with the jack by approximately 10 mm.

19. Remove the retainer shown in the figure below (arrow).
20. Lower the subframe assembly using a hydraulic jack.

21. Secure the front suspension subframe to the support platform of the hydraulic jack.
22. Fix the position of the steering rack on the car body.
23. Lower the jack together with the subframe assembly.

Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Place the steering rack (1) on the subframe as shown in the figure below.
3. The bushings (2) must be installed in the holes on the subframe (arrows), as shown in the figure below.

4. Connect the lower suspension arm to the steering knuckle ball joint, install and tighten the arm mounting nuts. Perform this operation on both sides.

Note: Tighten the control arm mounting nuts with the suspension unloaded.
5. On a vehicle with a height sensor, perform basic settings of the electronic system.
