Removal
1. Unscrew the mounting screws (1) and (3) as shown in the figure below.
2. Unlock the lock (arrow) and remove the cover (2) shown in the figure below.
3. Release the water hose (2) shown in the figure below from the clamps.
4. Unlock the fasteners (arrows) and remove the upper part of the air intake, as shown in the figure below (1).
5. Disconnect the vacuum hose (1) shown in the figure below.
6. Disconnect the electrical harness connector (2) of the mass air flow sensor.
7. Loosen the fastening clamp (3) and disconnect the air duct pipe assembly.
8. Disconnect the air filter housing assembly (4) from the rubber bushings and remove it in an upward direction, as shown in the figure below.
Installation
Note: Use non-silicone grease when connecting the air duct fittings.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Check the air duct pipe on the fresh air intake side for dirt and chips.
- Install the air filter housing assembly.
