Removal and installation the inner door seal
During assembly at the factory, the internal door seals are coated with sealant, placed on the door frame flange and rolled with a roller.
Note: When removing a seal, the sealant on its inner side is partially lost. The edges are slightly bent. When reinstalling a removed seal, the required tightness and secure fastening are not ensured. For this reason, a completely removed seal must be replaced with a so-called seal installed with a mallet. When partially removing seals, the edges of the seal must be compressed before installation.
To remove the inner door seal, dismantle the pillar trim. Remove the inner door seal "1" from the body opening flange.
Installation
Set the vulcanization location of the inner door seal "1" "arrow b" to the upper door hinge "arrow b". Installation of the inner door seal should begin from the upper corner "arrow a" of the doorway.
Removal and installation the outer door seal
Disconnect the outer door seal "4" (clamps "3" and -2-) from door "1".
Installation
Press the outer door seal "4" with clamps "3" and "2" to the door-1-.
Note: Check and, if present, replace clamps "3" and "2".
