Installation
Caution! Trying to hammer the water drain box cover into the windshield frame profile may cause the windshield to crack. New windshields have a liner installed in the mounting profile. This liner must be removed before installing the water drain box cover. The water drain box cover may only be inserted into the mounting profile by lightly pressing it with your hand; never hammer it in or use any other tool.
Wet the framing profile with soapy water to facilitate installation of the water drain box casing. First place the water drain box casing "2" on the left edge of the glass, then align it with the holes relative to the wiper arm shafts. Slightly press the water drain box casing on the left in the direction from the edge of the glass to the center of the car until it locks into the framing profile. Place casing "1" on casing "2". Simultaneously place casing "1" on the right edge of the glass. Slightly press the water drain box casing on the right in the direction from the edge of the glass to the center of the car until it locks into the framing profile. Place seal "4". Install the water drain box casing brackets. Install the windshield wipers.
