Checking the gearbox oil level
Note: Necessary special devices, control and measuring instruments, as well as auxiliary means.
- Spanner (T30023 (3357)).
1. Remove the lower engine and gearbox protection (for more details, see the corresponding section in the chapter "Body").
2. To check the transmission oil level, unscrew the screw plug (arrow) shown in the figure below. The gearbox oil level is correct when the gearbox is filled up to the brim of the oil filler hole.
3. Screw in the threaded plug (arrow) with a new sealing ring.
4. Tighten the screw plug to the required tightening torque.
When refilling, the following instructions should be observed.
1. Unscrew the screw (arrow).
2. Pour transmission oil up to the lower edge of the oil filler hole.
3. Screw in the threaded plug (arrow) with a new sealing ring.
4. Tighten the screw plug (arrow) to the required tightening torque.
