Removal and installation the stabilizer bar (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Determine the dimension "a". Place the jack for engines and transmission units "VAG 1383A" with a mount for the gearbox under the lower transverse arm "V.A.G 1359/2". Raise the wishbone enough to set dimension "a". Unscrew nut "1". Unscrew bolt "4" and nut "3". Remove the stabilizer bar.

Installation

Installation in reverse order.

Note: The stabilizer struts can only be screwed on when the dimension "a" between the center of the hub and the lower edge of the wheel arch has been established (position of the loaded mass)!
