Installation

To ensure proper operation of the air flow meter "G70", it is necessary to perform the following steps.

Note: If the filter element is heavily soiled or wet, dirt particles or moisture may enter the air flow meter and distort the measured air mass value. As a result, the power is reduced, since the calculation is based on a lower flow value. Always use the original filter element for the air filter. Always replace a damaged sealing ring (air leak). Use a silicone-free lubricant to install the air duct hose and sealing ring. Before installation, the pipes and air hoses must be cleaned of oil and degreased. Use original spring clamps similar to those installed at the factory to secure all hose connections.

Check the air flow meter and air duct hose (air intake) for salt deposits, dirt and foliage. Check the intake channel to the air filter element for dirt. If dirt is present, remove it from the air filter housing (upper and lower parts) salt deposits, dirt and leaves (wash or vacuum if necessary).

Insert air flow meter "G70" "pos. 2" and turn in "direction of arrow A".
