Note: The intake manifold and intercooler form a single component.
Remove the front upper cooling system hose. Remove the high-pressure line. Remove the air filter.
Unscrew the screws "arrows". Loosen the clamp "2" and remove the air duct "1".
Disconnect connector "4". Loosen clamps -1, 2- and disconnect fuel hoses. Unscrew screws "3", put back fuel hoses.
Unlock the lock "arrow", disconnect the vacuum hose "1". Unscrew the screw "3" and remove the vacuum hose "2".
For vehicles with engine letter designation CRKB
Remove the radiator fan shroud. Disconnect connector "1". Loosen clamp "2".

Disconnect and release the connectors.
1. charge air temperature sensor after intercooler "G811"
3. Boost pressure sensor "G31"
4. Intake air temperature sensor "G42"
5. throttle body "J338"
Unscrew screws -2, 7-, remove coolant hose "6". Unscrew screw "1" of the oil dipstick guide tube. Unscrew nut "5" and remove bracket "6" from double screw "4". Unscrew screws -4, 7-, Unscrew screws -2, 3- of the intake manifold bracket.
Unscrew screws -10...1- using the XZN 10 "T10501" attachment and remove the intake manifold with the intercooler.
Installation
Install a new cylinder head gasket onto the mounting pins
Caution: Avoid damaging the mating surface of the intake manifold due to contact with the mounting pins.
Tighten screws -1...10- to the specified torque in the specified order.
Installation in reverse order.
Note: Replace the gasket.
Install the air filter. Install the high pressure fuel line. Install the front upper coolant hose.
