Removal and installation the throttle control unit «J338» (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Remove the upper engine casing. Remove the air filter housing. Unscrew the screw "arrow" on the left and right. Unhook and remove the lower part "1" of the air duct.



Unscrew the screws "arrows". Loosen the clamp "2" and remove the air duct "1".

For vehicles with engine code CLHA, CLHB, CKFB, CKFC, CUPA, CRVC

Remove the arrow screws. Clamp the cooling system hoses "1" and "4" with hose clamps up to a diameter of 25 mm "MP7-602" (3094). Loosen clamps -2, 3- and disconnect the coolant hoses.

For vehicles with engine letter designation CRKB

Remove the arrow screws. Clamp the cooling system hoses "1" and "5" with hose clamps up to a diameter of 25 mm "MP7-602" (3094). Loosen clamps -2, 3, 4- and disconnect the coolant hoses.



Unscrew screw "3". -Pos. 1, 2- can be ignored.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.



2. For intake air temperature sensor "G42"


3. Throttle body "J338"

Loosen the hose clamp "4", remove the air hose. Unscrew the screws "1" and remove the connecting pipe with the air damper control unit "J338".

Installation

Installation in reverse order.

Note: Replace gaskets and sealing rings.

When installing the connecting pipe with the air damper control unit "J338", pay attention to the mounting pins. Install the front upper coolant pipe. Install the air filter.
