Note: On vehicles with a torsion beam rear suspension, a disconnect point for the exhaust pipe is provided to facilitate removal of the exhaust system. The disconnect point is marked on the exhaust pipe with a stamping.
Cut the exhaust pipe at the joint -arrow 2- at a right angle. When assembling, position the clamp "4" along the side marks "arrow 1" and -arrow 3-. Install in the correct position. Correct the position of the exhaust system components (install without stress). Tighten the connecting clamp screws evenly to a torque of 30 Nm. The threaded connection faces left.
