Front, middle and rear parts of the exhaust system, Euro 4 vehicles (Skoda Octavia 5E)

For vehicles with engine letter designation CRVC

1. Gasket: replace after disassembly; set in proper position

2. Clamp, 7 Nm: replacement

3. Downpipe: adjusting the position of the exhaust system components (stress-free installation)

4. 23 Nm

5. Bracket: Replace if damaged

6. Front coupling sleeve, 30 Nm: before tightening, remove tension in the exhaust system; tighten the connections evenly

7. Front tunnel cross member

8. 20 Nm

9. Suspension: replace if damaged

10. Suspension: replace if damaged

11. Rear tunnel cross member

12. Separation point: in case of repair; marked on the exhaust pipe with a stamping

13. Middle and rear muffler: during factory assembly - a single part, during repair - replace separately

Mounting position of the sealing gasket between the exhaust gas aftertreatment module and the exhaust pipe

The rectangular tongue of the sealing gasket "arrow" must fit into the recess of the exhaust gas neutralization module.

Mounting position of the connecting sleeve of the inlet pipe

Angle -α- = 0±30°.

Mounting position of the front coupling

Install the coupling by turning it at the angle shown.



Angle -α- = about 20°. Threaded connections should be on the right. Nuts facing up.

Mounting position of the rear coupling

Install the coupling by turning it at the angle shown.



Angle -α- = about 30°. Threaded connections should be on the left. The nut should be at the bottom.
