Removal and installation the acoustic system control unit
Switch off all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key. Set the left front seat as far back as it will go and to the highest position. Remove the spacer pins "2" and remove the cover -1- moving forward.
Unscrew screws "4" (1.5 Nm). Slightly tilt control unit "1" and remove it from the bracket. Unlock the bracket by folding it back and disconnect connector "3". Disconnect the data bus "MOST-Bus" "2".
Protect the MOST bus socket "2" with cover "1" or other suitable method (for example, wrap it in plastic and tape it).
Installation
Installation in reverse order. When replacing, code the new control unit using the Tester. If the MOST bus is damaged, replace it together with the terminals.
Removal and installation front and rear midrange speakers
Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Remove the door trim from which the speaker is removed. Disconnect the connector on the speaker. Remove the spacer pins of the "arrow" and remove the speaker.
Installation in reverse order.
Removal and installation a subwoofer
Remove the left side trim of the luggage compartment. Unscrew the fastening screws -see fig.- (3 Nm) and remove the subwoofer. Disconnect the connector.
Installation in reverse order.
Removal and installation connectors for external audio-video signal sources MEDIA-IN (MDI)
Remove the infotainment display module. Remove the heater/air conditioning control panel. Unlock the "arrows A" latches one by one, lower the console "1" "arrow B" and pull the connected wires towards you.
MEDIA IN connector (Mttsumi)
Insert a small screwdriver at an angle from below into the center of the connector, Squeeze, unlock and disconnect connectors "3" one by one. Unlock connector "2" from the "arrow" latches and remove.
USB and AUX connectors
Unlock from above and disconnect the connector from the USB socket "3". Insert a small screwdriver at an angle from below into the center of the connector. Squeeze, unlock and disconnect the connector from the AUX socket, pos. "4". Unlock from the latches "arrows" and remove the USB connector "2" and the connector for external audio sources "5".
Installation in reverse order.
