Removal and installation the windshield wiper arm with the brush and adjusting their end position
Unlock and remove cap "1". Carefully remove nozzle "2" "arrow" (not for Combi). Loosen the fastening nut one turn.
Place the M6 nut -pos.4- on the fastening nut (not for Combi). Using puller "3", remove wiper arm "1" from the cone.
Note: Always use stop "2" to separate the wiper arm from the cone.
Unscrew the nut completely and remove the windshield wiper arm.
Installation
With the ignition on, turn the windshield wiper motor on and off and let it reach the end position. Install the windshield wiper arm and secure it lightly with the nut. Adjust the end position of the windshield wiper arm according to the figure.

The value of "a" is
- Octavia: 52±2 mm
- Combi: 45±2 mm
Tighten the fastening nut (12 Nm). Perform a function and adjustment check.
Removal and installation the rear window wiper motor
Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Remove the windshield wiper arm with the blade. Remove the lower trim of the luggage compartment door. Disconnect connector "3". Turn to unlock the locking clip on the hose nipple and remove hose "2" from the nipple. Unscrew the nuts "arrows" (7 Nm) and remove the windshield wiper motor "1".
Installation in reverse order. Ensure correct installation position.
