Removal and installation the headlight range adjustment servomotor (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Remove the headlight, from which it is necessary to dismantle the actuator electric motor. Remove the cover "2".

Left headlight

Carefully break off the plugs "2". Unscrew the fastening screws located under the plugs.

Note: The screws are not located exactly under the plugs. Therefore, the actuator motor "1" must be turned slightly "arrow".

Right headlight

Carefully break off the plugs "3". Unscrew the screw under the plug and screw "2".

Note: The screw is not exactly under the plug, so the actuator motor "1" must be turned slightly "arrow". When unscrewing the screw "2", act according to the circumstances. You may need a Torx screwdriver one size smaller.

Both headlights

Move the actuator motor "1" "arrow A", release it from the groove and remove the pressure element "arrow B".

Installation

Installation in reverse order. Install new plugs "2" in place of the broken ones. After installing the actuator motor, check its correct operation.
