The headlights with xenon gas discharge lamps are bi-xenon headlights and are equipped with AFS (Adaptive Frontlighting System) — automatic headlight range correction system. The adaptive lighting and headlight range correction control unit J745 analyzes the following incoming information: steering wheel angle and direction of rotation, vehicle speed, reversing lights on, headlights on (low beam or high beam), signals from the vehicle's ground clearance sensors on the front and rear axles, individual wheel speeds, and the position of the exterior lighting switch. Based on this information, the headlights are adjusted for rotation and tilt.
