When travelling to countries with right-hand or left-hand traffic, headlights with halogen lamps must be covered with self-adhesive film to prevent blinding oncoming drivers.

Note: Headlight readjustment is not intended for long-term use, but rather a short-term "tourist" solution for a temporary stay abroad. Both headlights must always be readjusted. The lenses must be cleaned of dirt and degreased before applying the film, for example with an alcohol-based degreasing solution. For safety reasons, the lens must be cold when cleaning and applying the films. The indications "right side" or "left side" on the protective films always refer to the view from the front outwards. Please pay attention to the correct selection of the protective film.

Remove the rear protective film. Place the film on the headlight so that the lower and outer edge of the auxiliary part of the film covers the lower edge of the diffuser and the vertical auxiliary contour of the headlight glass.

Remove the rear protective film. Place the film…

  • 1. Right headlight
  • 2. Left headlight

Press firmly on the central part of film "B". Carefully pull off the auxiliary part of film "A" from the headlight. Only part of the protective film "B" will remain on the diffuser.

Note: Give the owner appropriate instructions on how to remove any adhesive residue after removing the protective film, for example using a cloth soaked in isopropyl alcohol (do not use aggressive solvents that could damage polycarbonate diffusers).
