Removal and installation rear lights (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Insert the "T10389" device or the hook for removing the decorative cap into the hole in the "1" trim (on-board instrument), sequentially disconnect the "arrow" cover from the "2" fasteners and remove.



Unscrew screws "3" (2.5 Nm). Grasp lamp "1" and with small lateral movements carefully remove it along the mounting axis from the mounting hole "arrow". Disconnect connector "2".

Installation

Installation in reverse order.

Note: Make sure the seals are positioned correctly and are not damaged. When pushing the rear light into the mounting hole, make sure the rear light wiring harness is pushed into the interior of the vehicle. A wiring harness pinched between the body and the light will cause heavy rainwater leakage and malfunction of the rear light.
