Removal and installation the engine support bracket (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Disconnect the battery. Remove the battery bracket. Drain the coolant. Loosen clamps "1" and "2" and remove the air pipe. Remove the air filter housing. Remove the poly V-belt tensioner.

Release the hoses from the fastening "3". Unscrew the screw "2". Disconnect the clamps "arrows" and remove the upper protective cover of the toothed belt "1".

Unscrew screw "1". Loosen clamp "2" and disconnect the cooling system hose.

Unscrew screws "1" and remove bracket "2" of the neutralizer.

Disconnect connector "1". Unfasten hose "2" from the adsorber. Disconnect the clamps with the "arrow" screwdriver and put the expansion tank of the cooling system aside. Open the latches on the air conditioning pipes.

Loosen screw "1", but do not unscrew it completely. Unscrew bolt "2". Turn generator "3" forward in the direction of the "arrow".

Loosen the "arrow" screws securing the intake pipe bracket. Remove the lower support of the power unit. Remove the wiper arms. Remove the water drainage box casing. Remove the caps of the threaded connections of the front shock absorber strut cups.

Install the "T30099" crossbar as shown in the figure. Install the hook with a snap hook on the right engine eye. Slightly tighten the power unit with the lead screw, but do not lift it. Remove the engine support.
