Installation
Note: If the filter element is heavily soiled or wet, dirt particles or moisture can settle on the parts and cause measurement errors. This will lead to a loss of engine power, as the electronics will calculate a smaller amount of injected fuel. The air filter housing must be clean. Fittings, as well as air ducts and hoses must be clean from grease and oil during installation. Use a silicone-free lubricant to install the air fittings. Fix all hose connections with clamps corresponding to those installed at the factory. When cleaning the filter housing with compressed air, seal sensitive parts such as air ducts, etc. with a clean cloth. In this way, possible malfunctions are prevented.
Pump out mechanical impurities from the upper and lower parts of the air filter housing. Blow out drain with compressed air.
