Removal and installation the intake manifold
Remove the air filter housing. Remove the noise-insulating casing. Drain the coolant.
Caution. Risk of injury from fuel jet. To relieve fuel pressure D:?: before opening the fuel system, place a clean cloth around the connection and carefully disconnect. Dirt may cause malfunctions.
First, press the hose coupling "1" down, then squeeze the clamps "arrows". Remove the hose coupling with the clamps pressed. Press the clamp on the hose "2" going to the adsorber. Disconnect the hose and release it from the fasteners.
Unlock the "arrow" lock and disconnect the vacuum hose "1". Release the vacuum hose from the fasteners on the air duct "2". Release the air hoses from the fasteners on the boost air pipe.
Disconnect connector "1". Unfasten the "arrow" fasteners and remove the boost air pipe.
Unscrew screw "1", loosen clamp "2". Disconnect coolant hose. Disconnect both other coolant hoses from coolant pipe as well.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
1. Electromagnetic valve 1 adsorber "N80"
3. Throttle body "J338"
4. Intake manifold pressure sensor "G71"
Unscrew the bolt "arrow". Press the release buttons and disconnect the hose "2" of the adsorber. Release the fuel line "5" and the cooling system line -6- from the fasteners on the intake manifold and move them to the side. Disconnect the connector -1- of the fuel pressure sensor "G247". Also disconnect the connector from the oil pressure sensor.
Loosen clamps "2" and disconnect cooling system hoses. Unscrew screws "arrows". Remove intake manifold "1".
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: Replace gaskets and sealing rings.
Install the noise-insulating casing. Install the air filter housing. Fill with coolant.
Intake manifold tightening torque and order
Tighten the screws in stages as follows:
