Warning! Risk of injury from fuel under high pressure. Before opening the high-pressure circuit of the injection system, the fuel pressure must be released to residual pressure. Dirt may cause malfunctions.
Remove the high-pressure pipe. Disconnect connector "1". Loosen clamp "2" and disconnect the pressure fuel line. Unscrew screws "3" and remove the high-pressure pump with roller pusher.
Installation
Check the roller tappet for damage, replace if necessary. Apply a thin layer of clean engine oil to roller tappet "1". Install the lubricated roller tappet "1" into the camshaft housing.
Note: Replace the sealing ring.
Turn the crankshaft in the working direction so that the roller tappet is at its lowest point. Install a new oiled sealing ring "2" in the groove of the high-pressure pump "3".
