Note: When removing the glass seal, avoid excessive bending or twisting.
Note: Make sure that the outside rearview mirror and door glass seal are removed.
1. Remove the retaining clip (3) in the direction of arrow "c" as shown in the figure below.
2. Disconnect the glass guide seal, starting from the inside of the door end.
3. Disconnect the door glass guide (1) from the door body and its frame (arrows a), starting from the front end of the door (2) and moving towards the rear of the door, as shown in the figure below.
4. Disconnect the door glass guide (1) from the supports (arrows b), as shown in the figure below.
Installation
Note: Before installing the door glass guide, it is necessary to apply a soapy water solution to the sealing surface so that the position of the guide on the door frame can be accurately adjusted.
1. Stick the protective adhesive tape (4) to the outer surface of the door frame as shown in the figure below.
2. Install the door glass guide into the supports (arrow a) as shown in the figure below.
3. Press the guide evenly over the entire surface (2), as shown in the figure below.
4. Press on the sealing surface of the door glass guide from the inside.
5. Install the locking clamps (3) as shown in the figure below (arrow b).
Note: The cut edge of the locking clip should be facing the inside of the vehicle as shown in the figure below.
