Removal
1. Remove the front door trim panel (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. Remove the door cover (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
3. Remove the door lock cylinder (if the door is the driver's door) or remove the door handle cover (if the door is a passenger door) (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
4. Remove the door handle (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
5. Unscrew the fastening screw (4) and remove the gasket (3), as shown in the figure below.
6. Remove the mounting bracket (1) from the door by pulling it in the direction of arrow "a" as shown in the figure below.
7. Disconnect the Bowden cable. To do this:

Unlock the bracket (5) and, by turning, remove the support from the bracket, as shown in the figure below (arrow b).
Raise the control cable bolt in the direction of arrow "c" as shown in the figure below.
Disconnect the control cable (2) from the mounting bracket (1) by pulling it in the direction of arrow "d" as shown in the figure below.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Install the mounting bolt (2) and tighten it to a tightening torque of 1.5 Nm.
