Collapse
The camber angle of the wheel cannot be adjusted, but it is only possible to align it.
If the values are out of tolerance, the cross slope of the vehicle must first be checked and, if necessary, corrected.
The camber of the wheel can be evenly aligned within the tolerance zone by shifting the brackets of the suspension mounting beam.
1. Loosen the screws (1), (2), (3) And (4).
2. Move the suspension beam bracket so that the camber on both sides is the same.
3. Check the angle of the longitudinal inclination of the axis of the king pin back. The angle of the longitudinal inclination of the axis of the kingpin back can change as a result of the displacement of the bracket of the suspension mounting beam.
4. Tighten the suspension beam bracket bolts.
Convergence
If the values are out of tolerance, the cross slope of the vehicle must first be checked and, if necessary, corrected.
1. Loosen locknut (1).
2. Adjust the toe by turning the left or right steering link rods. In the case of a relatively large difference, the toe-in should be adjusted by turning the left and right steering trapezoid rods at the same time. Install an open end wrench on the hex (arrow).
Attention. Make sure that after turning the steering link rods, the cuffs do not remain twisted or twisted.
3. Tighten locknut (1), check alignment again.
Note.
- It may happen that after tightening the nut (1) the set value will change slightly.
- However, this value must be within the tolerance of the required value. If it's not. then you need to adjust the wheel alignment again.
