Checking the axial clearance of the camshaft
Note.
- Necessary special devices, control and measuring instruments, as well as auxiliary means:
- Universal holder for a clock type deviation indicator (MP 3-447).
- Hourly indicator.
Note: The measurement should be carried out with the hydraulic compensators removed and the cylinder head cover removed.
Load the camshaft on the middle camshaft bearing cap. Wear limit: no more than 0.20 mm.
Valve sizes
Note: The valves cannot be further processed. Only mutual lapping with the corresponding seat using lapping paste is allowed.
